Choose your membership type
To qualify as an Elder Midwife, you must have been actively practicing home birth for 15 or more years and living in Hawaiʻi for a minimum of 5 years. This membership grants you the ability to vote over HIHBC matters, attend the general meeting and peer review.
A student or apprentice learning midwifery under a Home Birth Midwife.
Membership for community members, other birth workers, and non-resident Midwives/Traditional Birth Attendants/other who support home birth diversity and care to know more about home birth and practices in Hawaiʻi. This membership does not give access to peer review.
For actively practicing Home Birth Midwives/Traditional Birth Attendants. This membership grants you the ability to vote over HIHBC matters, attend the general meeting and peer review.
