$45.00 every 12 months

To qualify as an Elder Midwife, you must have been actively practicing home birth for 15 or more years and living in Hawaiʻi for a minimum of 5 years. This membership grants you the ability to vote over HIHBC matters, attend the general meeting and peer review.

As an Elder Home birth Midwife, you can be considered for appointment to the Elder council.

Requirements include:
A minimum of 5 years of continuous home birth practice in Hawai’i
Willing to serve a 3-year term and be selected through a voting process by HiHBC members on their prospective island(s).
Perform the following duties - peer review, review/respond to grievances, inter-island communication and attending annual meetings.
